I am a qualified counsellor, registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I am a Pluralistic Counsellor, which means I combine methods from different approaches into the formula which works best for you.
I believe that because your challenges and experiences are unique to you, they should be explored as such.
The structure of sessions along your counselling journey may vary as your needs vary.
You may feel you’d like to focus more on your past during some sessions, and others more on present feelings and experiences.
When and how much to explore is entirely your choice, and exploring the past isn’t always even necessary.
I have worked with a wide range of presenting issues such as Anxiety and Stress, Grief and Loss, Depression, including Postnatal Depression, Self-harm, Suicidal Thoughts, Childhood Abuse and Trauma.

I will hold space for you as we co-create your therapy journey. I provide a ‘bottom up’ approach to therapy where we work to achieve emotional regulation through drawing, sculpture, and play, before moving in to relational, and more cognitive approaches where appropriate. My client base consists of adults, children, young people, and families, for either individual or dyadic sessions.

I have experience supporting clients to work through a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, self-harm, bereavement and loss.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on several different therapeutic approaches, this means that I can be flexible, adapting my approach to best suit the individual needs of each client.
My aim is to provide a safe, confidential environment in which you will feel heard without fear of being judged, and where you will feel valued and accepted for who you are.
I endeavour to meet you with compassion, warmth and genuineness. I believe that you should feel in control of what we cover in our sessions. I aim to help you to gain a greater understanding of yourself and how you experience life, and to encourage you to tap into your inner resources to make positive change.
